Hawaii Warriors

The University of Hawaii Warriors are the Varsity team names of the men's sports programs at the University of Hawaii.  The Hawaii Warriors football team represents the University of Hawaii in NCAA Division I FBS college football. The Warrior football team has been steadily improving their ratings and in 2006, their Quarterback, Colt Brennan finished 6^th in the Heisman trophy race.  Hawaii Warriors boast several Bowl game wins and has sent several of their players to the NFL. 

BYU has always been regarded by many Hawaii residents to be the Warriors' biggest rival and most high-profile game. The rivalry with Fresno State has increased greatly in recent years, with both teams contending annually for the conference championship.  Boise State and Hawaii have begun to develop a rivalry since the Broncos joined the WAC in 2001.  As these two teams are usually two of the better teams in the WAC, the rivalry can only be expected to grow in the coming years.
